International Stress Awareness Week
4-8th November 2019
ISMAUK are founders of International Stress Awareness Week with International Stress Awareness day taking place on Wednesday 6th November. We are a charity who promotes sound knowledge in the prevention and reduction of stress and is an advocate of best practice in the field of stress management.
Our theme for this year is RESILIENCE – the power to succeed. Just consider the importance of resilience in corporate life, and the overwhelming need to cultivate the power of bouncing back from workplace challenges. You’ll identify many aspects of this high profile topic that will inspire creative workshops and presentations in International Stress Awareness Week – not just in the UK but around the world.
To find out 'WHAT'S ON during International Stress Awareness Week' download the program or follow us on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
THE WORLD IS WATCHING.... Be part of it and join the campaign and let us keep resilience high on the national agenda, together, as part of the promotion of well-being in the workplace.

What is Resilience?
Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress — such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems or workplace and financial stressors. It means "bouncing back" from difficult experiences.
In the last two editions of the Online Stress Summit Danielle and Tom spoke to many experts on the topic of stress and resilience addressed from the perspective of the topics "Does Hi-Tech cause Hi-Stress" and "Speak Up and Speak Out about Stress"
During this years Stress Awareness Week, all of these interviews can be accessed for free.
